Paid Media
Throughout my time with BaubleBar, I worked closely with the paid media team on paid content strategy and copy. My most visible work on this channel can be found within our paid social assets — I worked closely with our Paid Media Manager on imagery selection, positioning, and copy (including both for the creative itself and for captions).
These conversations and collaborative efforts gave me a deep understanding of the three main categories of paid audiences — acquisition, retargeting, and prospecting — and how to speak to each of them. I also walked away having foundational knowledge of key paid KPIs, like ROAS, CPC, CTR, and CVR.
One of the most rewarding parts of this work was when we would see an ad we created take off immediately. In these instances, we knew we had tapped into content or storytelling that resonated with our customer, timed the ad perfectly, and chose the right product to feature. This helped us make our future brainstorms and execution even more efficient.
