Emails

When I began my role as Marketing Associate at BaubleBar, I was responsible for the brand’s email content strategy and copy. This meant that I came up with the product stories for each of our emails and wrote all the copy for the channel — from subject line to headline to CTA.

As we grew — and eventually hired a dedicated Email Marketing Manager — this responsibility became a collaborative effort. With more bandwidth, the Email Marketing Manager and I were able to work together to regularly test different types of content, subject lines, audience segments, and more. We learned what clicked, what didn’t, and constantly iterated on the latter to find that perfect sweet spot (conversions!).

One thing I loved about our emails at BaubleBar was that they often felt like a magazine editorial. I liked to make them flow just like a feature — succinctly telling you exactly what you needed to know while adding fun copy, graphics, and imagery along the way. And, while I can’t share exact numbers, I can tell you our six-figure plus audience really liked these stories: While many brands were seeing significant declines in email marketing, ours remained strong and even increased.

The following are some of our best/my favorite emails sent during my time at BaubleBar.
